A new birth certificate may be filed that incorporates the corrected sex of the person named on the birth certificate. It may alsobe filed on olderrecords toremove the parent(s) “raceor color”. The filing fee to create a new birth certificate is $25.00. Complete Section 3 and check the bottom box requesting a new birth certificate be filed.
